Beautiful mama

I was lucky enough to photograph Rennae last week, to document her third pregnancy. I am so thrilled she chose me to capture her gorgeous belly. She really knew how to move for the camera, her best angles, and she was such a great example of how sexy and beautiful pregnancy can be!

Birthday girl in the house...

My middle baby turned 4 recently, and when asked what sort of party she would like, requested "pink". We had pink milk, pink jelly, pink biscuits, strawberries, and pink champagne for the mums :)

Apart from the usual party games we also hired the most amazing face painter, she blew us away with her talent. Check out Lesley's work!

Then a pretty cake and some yummies to end a lovely party. Happy Birthday Princess!!

Fairy fun...

I spent a recent weekend with 2 of the most delightful little girls, Miss Saskia & Miss Nikita (how divine are their names! *swoon*).

Miss Saskia was the perfect big sister, quiet, thoughtful and so serene. She loved having her photo taken, and was a perfect model, so pretty, relaxed and happy! Miss Nikita was a firecracker, so full of spirit and fun, I just loved listening to her giggle and interact with her big sister and gorgeous Mum.

I had so much fun following these two fairy princesses around, capturing their giggles and games. A truly wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

And a huge thank you to mum Kristy, who reluctantly agreed to pose for me, I am so thrilled I could capture these images of you with your girls. You look just beautiful and I'm sure these images will help me convince many more mums to jump in front of the camera with their children, to capture memories for them to keep for years to come.

Sun seeker

My poor girl struggles in the cold, and she often seeks out this little patch of winter sun that streams into our kitchen at lunchtime. I feed her up on porridge for lunch, which keeps a smile on her dial :)

A winter's afternoon...

I spent a lovely afternoon with this gorgeous family today, we had so much fun racing around, blowing bubbles and eating lollies (thanks for sharing Jaimie!) Jaimie loved the toy camera I brought for him, I think you have a budding photographer on your hands Vanessa!

Happy girl

Bella is going through a lovely phase (how often do I get utter that phrase?!) where she is just bubbling over with happiness. She will break out in random fits of giggles, and I often glance over and catch her looking off in space, with this contented look on her face. I was thrilled to capture it yesterday, and although this photo breaks every focus rule out there, I love it. Dreamy, giggly and just happy...

After an amazing weekend spent with some AMAZING women, I'm feeling a little like Bella myself. I'll be back to tell you all about it soon.
